Jewelry Resizing

A ring that doesn't fit doesn't get worn. Resizing is quick, affordable, and done at our own bench — usually within days.

Diamond bridal set sized and fitted at Lucky’s

Fingers change — rings should too. Whether you've inherited a ring, lost or gained weight, or bought online and guessed wrong on size, we resize rings in-house so the work is done right and done quickly.

What we resize

  • Engagement rings and wedding bands
  • Gold, white gold, silver, and platinum rings
  • Rings with stones — prongs and settings are checked and secured as part of the job
  • Heirloom rings needing gentle handling

Sizing up vs. sizing down

Sizing down involves removing a small section of the band and rejoining it seamlessly. Sizing up either stretches the band slightly or adds matching metal. Either way, the joint is soldered, shaped, and polished so the ring looks like it was always your size. Some styles — like full-eternity bands or certain tension settings — have limits, and we'll tell you honestly what's possible before starting.

Frequently asked questions

How many sizes can a ring be adjusted?

Most rings can safely go up or down about two sizes. Beyond that, we'll walk you through options like shank rebuilding.

Will resizing damage my stones?

No — checking and tightening stones is part of every resize we do. Heat-sensitive stones are protected or removed during the work.

How long does resizing take?

Most resizes are ready within a few days, and simple ones can sometimes be done sooner. Call ahead if you need it for a specific date.
